THE OBJECTS
CURATED BY SOPHIE PINET

Because her sensibility has always extended beyond clothing, Soeur celebrates beauty in all
its forms through a selection of objects made with journalist and consultant Sophie Pinet.

Following her association with the duo Indaburoko Borda in 2022, Soeur continues to explore
the world of craft and the home by inviting Sophie Pinet to choose around twenty objects
to form an ideal collection that echoes their shared sensibility.

A Pierre Culot tea set, Murano blown-glass tumblers, artisanal rugs with geometric patterns,
a candle from Studio Oliver Gustav, or posters created by Cy Twombly
for Yvon Lambert in the 1970s: the series brings together dozens of objects conceived by various
international designers, artists and craftspeople, ranging from decorative pieces to everyday tools.
Through their forms, their materials and the care taken in their conception, all share a certain
aesthetic rigour dear to Soeur. The better to unite the beautiful,
the useful and the pleasurable.

« THE IDEA BEHIND THIS SELECTION WAS TO BRING TOGETHER ESSENTIAL PIECES FOR THE HOME — BEAUTIFUL, SIMPLE AND USEFUL. PIECES IMBUED WITH COMMON SENSE IN THEIR MAKING, FREE FROM ANY STYLISTIC AFFECTATION, TO THE POINT OF CROSSING OVER INTO THE REALM OF CLASSICS.»
